The DHP Liver Clinic is a specialized ambulatory clinic that can arrange for all lab work necessary in the proper diagnosis and treatment of liver disease. Percutaneous liver biopsy will be done by your physician or, a specially selected radiologist. Interpretation of these biopsies will be done by your hepatologist, a skilled local pathologist with expertise in liver disease, and if needed, outside experts.

MEDICAL TREATMENT

We are committed to "cutting edge" treatment of liver disease. The clinic is involved in clinical research and protocols being used at some of the most prestigious liver centers throughout the United States. All patients will be evaluated carefully to decide on the safest, most optimal therapy for their liver disease process.

HEPATITIS C SUPPORT GROUP

Chronic liver disease is a serious, and, at times, frightening experience. Our liver clinic is involved in a Hepatitis C Support Group to assist in enhancing knowledge of this insidious disease. Patients and their families may attend. Lectures will be presented at regular intervals and up-to-date information in the treatment and involving research of these liver diseases will always be available.
