Liver Clinic INTRODUCTION Digestive Health Physicians is a five physician gastroenterology practice which began its original development here in Lee County more than 20 years ago. All of our physicians are university trained experts in the field of digestive and liver disease. In order to provide a higher level of quality care for our patients with liver disease, we have organized the DHP Liver Clinic. Although all our physicians manage liver disease, the Liver Clinic has allowed two of our physicians to focus their expertise on this group of often very complex patients. This clinic is the first of its kind in the region. The DHP Liver Clinic offers evaluation and treatment of the broad range of liver diseases. We are involved in several research protocols for treatment of Hepatitis C, and have a large experience in management of this and other liver diseases. Paul L. Yudelman and Juan G. Herrera are university-trained gastroenterologists who have a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic liver diseases of all varieties. They will supervise the DHP Liver Clinic. Our Physician Assistant, Richard Ornato, PAC, has extensive experience in management of patients undergoing treatment of Hepatitis C.
