Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a very common disorder that afflicts millions of Americans. It causes a tremendous variety of different gastrointestinal symptoms and may mimic many other diseases. Confirming the diagnosis is the first step in achieving relief of these troubling symptoms.
